SPONSORSHIP. The $49,000 Mega Cash Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Resort Vacations Inc., (“Sponsor”), 27405 Puerta Real, Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA. 92691. 

 

ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is offered only to legal residents of the state of Texas who are at least twenty-five (25) years of age at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and agents of Sponsor, each of their immediate family members (e.g., spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses and the “steps” of each, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participation constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned.

 

HOW TO ENTER. This contest is sponsored by Resort Vacations Inc. There are three (3) ways to enter the sweepstakes drawing.

1. Each person who completely and accurately fills out an Entry Form either manually via paper lead slip or via a touch screen computer available at select shows/events sponsored by Resort Vacations, Inc. between January 1, 2021, and June 30th, 2022.

 

2. Each person who visits the office of the sponsor located at 3225 W. Airport Freeway 100, Irving, TX. 75062 and fills out an Entry Form between January 1, 2021, and June 30th, 2022.

 

3. Each person who sends in a postcard with the entrant's name, address, telephone number, and email address via U.S. Mail to: Mega Cash Sweepstakes Entry 27405 Puerta Real Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA. 92691 between January 1, 2021, and June 30th, 2022.

 

NOTE: Entrant is not required to purchase a timeshare interest or attend a timeshare sales presentation in order to win the Grand Prize (as defined below); however, by entering this Sweepstakes by submitting an official entry form either manually or via a touch-screen computer at an on-site event, an entrant is opting-in to receive marketing communications about time share offerings.

 

CONTEST. Contestant will have a chance to win the Grand Prize of $49,000.00 which will be awarded to the winner in the form of a corporate check, with a retail value of $49,000.00. The estimated odds of winning the Grand Prize is 1:750,000. Actual odds of winning depend upon a total number of entries received. Entries for the sweepstakes drawing must be postmarked by June 30th, 2022 if mailed and all entries for this drawing submitted by touch screen computer or visit to the office of the Sponsor must be received by June 30th, 2022. The drawing will take place on or about July 14th, 2022.

The Grand Prize winner will be selected on or about July 14th, 2022. All drawings will be held at Resort Vacations Inc. 27405 Puerta Real, Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA. 92691. Only entries that are completely and accurately filled out will be eligible to win. ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON/HOUSEHOLD. The winner need not be present to win.

 

CLAIMING A PRIZE. The winner will be notified within 7 days via telephone and/or email. The winner must confirm and accept the prize within 72 hours of notification or a new winner may be selected or at Sponsor's option, the prize will be deemed forfeited in which case it will not be awarded to any entrant. The winner will also be required to acknowledge receipt of their prize(s) in writing. All federal, state, or other tax liabilities will be the sole responsibility of the winners, if applicable. Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity Release and W9 forms must be completed and returned in order to claim a prize. Failure to complete and return these forms may result in forfeiture of a prize and a new winner may be selected at Sponsor's option, or the Grand Prize will be deemed forfeited in which case it will not be awarded. Subject to applicable law, Sponsor and/or affiliates and their vendors may contact entrants to offer opportunities to purchase discount vacation packages and/or other services from Sponsor and/or its affiliates. To obtain an official winner list and copy of these official rules, send a self-addressed stamped to Resort Vacations Inc, 27405 Puerta Real, Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA. 92691 within 12 months from the date of this event. Please specify the event about which you are inquiring.

 

Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry/play methods or agents (including, but not limited to, sweepstakes entry services) will void all entries/plays by that entrant. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry/play, the authorized account holder of the email used to enter/play will be deemed to be the entrant, the authorized account holder is the natural person assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being authorized, account holders.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. Neither Sponsor, Global Exchange Vacation Club, nor any of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and/or agents (collectively "Related Parties") shall be responsible for (and none will be liable for): (i) late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, unintelligible entries (as determined by Sponsor); (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions or transmission failures of any kind; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Sponsor that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; or (iv) any printing or typographical errors contained herein; (v) any innocent error or conduct in connection with this promotion; (vi) any good faith judgment or use of discretion by Sponsor. Sponsor shall have the right but not the obligation to disqualify any entries that Sponsor believes, in its good faith and sole discretion, are fraudulent or otherwise improper or tainted. These rules may be modified if necessary as a result of typographical error or omission. Indemnification: By participating you agree to release, indemnify, defend & hold the Related Parties, harmless from any & all losses, damages, injuries, rights, claims & actions, of any kind including without limitation, personal injury, death & property damage, & claims based on publicity rights, intellectual property rights, defamation or invasion of privacy (including attorneys’ fees), in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, in connection with (i) the Sweepstakes; (ii) the use, display, reproduction, copying, modification or printing of the photographs you submit; (iii) or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prizes. Entrant hereby waives all rights to bring a class action suit or to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys' fees, and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

 

This promotion is void where prohibited by law and is not directed towards residents in any state in which registration and/or licensing is required and in which such registration and/or licensing requirements have not been met. The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the state of Texas. 

 

Global Exchange Development Corp. ("GEDC"), is the developer/seller of the Global Exchange Vacation Club ("GEVC"), a registered timeshare plan in Texas and California.

 

Open to U.S. legal residents age 25 or older. Only one sweepstakes entry will be accepted per person.
